Haze is a general name given to the lack of a clear, clean appearance of a high-gloss system, and to all kinds of blooming effects on the paint surface.

The level of this reflection causes a halo around the image and a decrease in contrast.

A part of the reflected light rays coming from an angle of 20° is reflected from the surface in the form of "scattering". (Fig. 2: The appearance of haze at same gloss values.)
