In recent years, increasing forest fires and changing climate conditions have led to significant losses in forest assets. These developments, which directly impact ecosystem balance, make the protection and restoration of forests more critical than ever.

With this awareness, Kansai Altan and AkzoNobel Kemipol have established the “Stronger Tomorrows Together” Memorial Forest in Yeniceköy, Akhisar (Manisa), in collaboration with the Aegean Forest Foundation. As part of the project, 10,000 saplings have been planted.

We hope that each sapling will grow over time, contribute to the local ecosystem, and further strengthen our connection with nature. We expect this memorial forest to develop into a lasting green area in the years ahead.

Through the memorial forests we establish each year, we aim to increase the areas we bring back to nature and to continue our efforts in this field with determination.
