We Have Received Our First Process Technology Patent!
As Kansai Altan, following more than three years of R&D work and approval procedure, we have successfully completed our patent study titled “Mixing Tank Impeller” and obtained both the patent registration certificate from the European Patent Office (EPO) and the patent certificate from the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office. With this achievement, we are proud to have realized the first process-based patent in our company’s history.
Within the scope of this study, we developed a high-efficiency impeller design to enhance mixing & homogenization and dispersion performance in high-viscosity paint systems. Thanks to the optimized blade geometry and rotational designated parameters, we achieved a homogeneous structure in a shorter time and increased mixing efficiency. This improvement also supports our sustainability goals through more efficient resources and energy use.
This invention has been registered as a European Patent by the European Patent Office, recorded under the Unitary Patent system, and also certified by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, ensuring comprehensive protection.
In order to further strengthen this original equipment design and our intellectual property developed within the Process Laboratory, we have also registered our KAIMIX brand. KAIMIX is formed by combining “KAI,” meaning “change” or “transformation,” and “MIX,” representing innovative mixing technology.
The KAIMIX logo reflects the concepts of nature, energy, and dynamism through its color palette and sharp, origami-inspired impeller blade form. Its design also incorporates references to Japanese aesthetics and velocity vectors used in computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
